The sad truth in the business world is that most managers fail to regularly recognize their employees. It's not that they don't appreciate their employees, it's that they just don't know how to say 'Thank You.'Since workplace surverys started (circa 1949), employees have consistently responded that they 1) Want to be appreciated for what they do, and 2) Want to be 'in' on things.
Some simple solutions:
Tell them exactly what they did right.
Tell them what value or goal they met
Explain how that impacts the company
Express appreciation
