Using an online ordering system

This is the website administrator here at Crystal D.  We've had an online ordering system in place for quite some time now, and I'm wondering what we can do to make it more palatable for our customers.  As the website administrator it is hard not to feel a sense of frustration (and failure) that we have a great online ordering system and no one seems to want to use it.  Granted, I'm a techie, so perhaps I'm just missing a basic part of the business puzzle; and that's why I'm writing this.  To our customers (and non-customers):  What would need to be added to the online ordering system to make you comfortable using it?  Is it the catalog interface?  The checkout process?  The colors?  Any input at all would be helpful! If you're not comfortable with making a public posting, then email the website administrator.
