St. Paul, Minn. – March 6, 2007 – www.crystal-d.com - Crystal D, a leading supplier of corporate recognition awards to the promotional products industry, has implemented a new employee donation program for the local food shelf.

The new program, initiated by the Community Outreach Program at Crystal D, allows employees to automatically donate one dollar or more per week to Keystone Community Services food shelf. The donations will help raise $2,000-$3,000 per year for the community.

“This initiative is really a part of helping the community and living our values,” says president Chuck Dahlgren. “Sometimes it’s something as small as one dollar that can really make a difference in people’s lives. Every employee at Crystal D volunteered to donate, which proves that each and every employee lives the company values in every aspect of their lives.”

Crystal D employees volunteered to have one dollar per week automatically deducted from their payroll check. Each quarter the donations are sent to Keystone Community Services to help purchase food for the less fortunate within the community.
