Crystal D, a Leading Supplier of Crystal Awards, Announces Employees Receive Certified Recognition Professionals Designation
June 8, 2007 – St. Paul, Minn. – www.crystal-d.com – Crystal D, a leading supplier of crystal awards, announces Chuck Dahlgren, president, and Laura Jendersee, marketing manager, have received the Certified Recognition Professionals (CRP) designation. Dahlgren and Jendersee were members of the first CRP graduating class on May 1 at the annual conference of Recognition Professionals International (RPI), formerly National Association for Employee Recognition (NAER).
The CRP program is offered by RPI to meet the needs of industry professionals and growing trends in employee recognition. To become a Certified Recognition Professional, individuals need to complete four courses, including: Structuring Recognition Programs for Success, Strategic Planning and Measurement, Recognition Management and Maintenance, and Applying Recognition Systems. Professionals. Candidates must also pass the required certification exam.
As the first suppliers in the industry to receive their CRP designation, Dahlgren and Jendersee have the ability to calculate the return on investment for a recommended recognition strategy. They also learned how to align recognition goals with previously developed corporate goals in an organization. As a result of these skills, Jendersee and Dahlgren can develop recognition programs that will meet these goals, evaluate the program, and create real results for an organization. Dahlgren and Jendersee also learned how to establish nomination processes that are cost-effective.
