Crystal D, a Leading Supplier of Corporate Awards, Nominated for Three PPAI Supplier Achievement Awards

Crystal D submitted the crystal Parthenon for the “Etching-Engraving” category. This crystal award was etched using a multiple-layered etching process requiring great attention to detail. After each layer of the mask is etched, another layer of the mask is peeled off. This creates a tremendous amount of detail and depth in the final product.

For the category, “Special Processes Not Otherwise Categorized,” the crystal Awards In Motion® Illumachrome Andover was submitted. This award incorporates a crisp, 3D subsurface image into the rotating cube as well as the optical crystal base. The exclusive four-color illumachrome process was integrated into the top of the cube to highlight the 3D image.
Microscope AwardMicroscope Award
Crystal D submitted the crystal and black glass Microscope Award for the “Customized Non-Catalog Product” category. The award features a detail optical crystal microscope mounted onto a black glass base. The four-color illumachrome process was integrated into the back panel to highlight the crystal microscope.

One winner in each category will be announced at The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas in January 2010.
