Crystal D, a Leading Supplier of Crystal Awards, Selected As a Winner for 2008 PPAI Supplier Achievement Awards

May 29, 2007 – St. Paul, Minn. – www.crystal-d.com – Crystal D, a leading supplier of crystal awards and corporate gifts was selected as a winner in two categories for the 2008 Promotional Products Association International Supplier Achievement Awards.

The categories Crystal D has been selected for are “Etching-Engraving” and “Two or More Distinct Processes to Produce a Specific Visual Effect”.

Crystal D submitted the crystal Columbus Award for the “Etching-Engraving” category. This crystal award was front and reverse-etched to create a unique visual effect.

For the category, “Two or More Distinct Processes to Produce a Specific Visual Effect,” the crystal NASCAR Car was submitted. The creation of the NASCAR piece included modeling the award after Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s car. The NASCAR Car was etched with each individual graphic on Earnhardt’s car and then colorfilled to make every graphic the same color as the original car.

Crystal D will be recognized at the PPAI Awards Dinner with the Gold or Silver award during The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas in January 2008.
