David Chaikin volunteers as a motivational speaker and as an ambassador to Community Health Charities, Minnesota Chapter for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. David is severely limited by progressive MS. “I have always seen myself as an ordinary guy in an extraordinary health circumstance,” says David. “I never really realized that people got from me the qualities that you have pointed out today. I always thought I was just doing what people where supposed to do, because I don’t understand what ‘quit’ means. Just think about what President Ronald Reagan said once, ‘Life begins when you begin to serve,’ and that’s when my life started.”
