Crystal D, a Leading Supplier of Crystal Awards, Wins Gold and Silver at the 2008 PPAI Awards Ceremony

February 12, 2008 – St. Paul, Minn. – www.crystal-d.com – Crystal D, a leading supplier of crystal awards and corporate gifts, was selected as a gold winner in two categories and a silver winner in one category at the 2008 Promotional Products Association International Awards ceremony.

Crystal D won gold in the “Etching-Engraving” and “Two or More Distinct Processes to Produce a Specific Visual Effect” categories.

Crystal D submitted the crystal Columbus Award for the “Etching-Engraving” category. This crystal award was both front and reverse-etched to create a unique visual effect.

For the category, “Two or More Distinct Processes to Produce a Specific Visual Effect,” the crystal NASCAR Car was submitted. The NASCAR Award was modeled after Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s car. The NASCAR Car was etched with each individual graphic on Earnhardt’s car and then colorfilled to make every graphic the same color as the original car.

Crystal D won a silver Web Award in the “Visual Design/Creativity” category.

Crystal D received their awards and was recognized at the PPAI Awards ceremony during The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas on Jan. 16.
