Crystal D, a Leading Supplier of Corporate Awards, Wins Gold and Silver at the 2009 PPAI Awards Ceremony
January 22, 2009 – St. Paul, Minn. – www.crystal-d.com – Crystal D, a leading supplier of corporate awards, was honored as a gold winner in one category and a silver winner in three categories at the 2009 Promotional Products Association International Awards ceremony.
Crystal D won two product awards: gold in the “Etching-Engraving” category and silver in the “Special Process Not Otherwise Categorized” category.

Hand-Painted Sphere
Crystal D submitted the crystal Trenton Crescent for the “Etching-Engraving” category. This crystal award was imprinted using a multiple-layered etching technique to create depth and dimension.
For the category, “Special Process Not Otherwise Categorized,” the Hand-Painted Sphere was submitted. After studying a photo, skilled artisans hand-paint the inside of the crystal globe using tiny curved paintbrushes.
Crystal D won two silver Web Awards in the “Functionality/Usability” and “Information/Content” categories.
The Web Award winners were announced during an online ceremony on Jan. 7.

Crystal D received their awards and was recognized at the PPAI Awards ceremony during The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas on Jan. 14.
