CRYSTAL D CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING OF NEW FACILITY
St. Paul, Minn. – August 29, 2005 – Crystal D, a leading supplier of awards and recognition products, is hosting a grand opening of its new facility on Thursday, September 1, 2005, located at 505 Atwater Circle in St. Paul. Crystal D invites guests to tour the facility and see crystal etching demonstrations during the open house.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to share our new facility with our customers. Our new building features a spacious showroom where we encourage our distributors to meet with their clients,” said Mike Irvine, operations manager.
The newly built 30,000 square foot facility is designed to house the various production processes developed by Crystal D. It will be home to all production and business departments. The new facility offers:
- 6,000 square feet of office space
- 8,000 square feet of production space
- 16,000 square feet of warehouse space
“At Crystal D we are committed to providing our customers with new crystal designs and excellent customer service. Our new building will provide us with the opportunity to expand and serve our customers more effectively. With the move to our new location, we have been able to introduce the concept of lean manufacturing to our production floor, which will increase our efficiency,” said Chuck Dahlgren, president.
