Crystal D, leading recognition supplier, named e-PSA Certified

St. Paul, Minn. – February 20, 2007 – www.crystal-d.com [2] - Crystal D, a leading supplier of corporate recognition awards to the promotional products industry, has recently been named e-PSA Certified.

This certification provides Crystal D with automated electronic exchanges in order information and business processes. E-PSA certification assures that Crystal D documents have been tested by e-PSA Labs against the most current e-PSA standards. This reduces the initial testing time between Crystal D and our customers and also maintains a high level of acceptance and expectancy of PIP documents.

Crystal D customers also benefit from the certification as they will receive regular and timely receipt of order status information, shipping notices and invoices. Also, every file is formatted in exactly the same way, with the same required fields, which means less time on paperwork as well as daily order status notification.

“Crystal D is honored to receive this certification,” says Chuck Dahlgren, president. “Not only will we, as a supplier, be able to work more efficiently, but we allow our customers to work more efficiently as well, resulting in incredible customer service.”

About e-PSA Standards
e-PSA Standards were established by the Promotional Products Industry firms who felt the inefficiencies of current fax, mail and email trading of incomplete and random order information was costly to their firms’ bottom line. Therefore, the RosettaNet standards, used globally today, were adopted and implemented into our industry to improve efficiencies in the exchange of order information as well as reduce friction and unnecessary overhead.

E-PSA standards raise the bar to a higher level of a solid, open, non-proprietary standard. The e-PSA standards were not developed by, nor run by, a proprietary company. The standards are open and information is available from RosettaNet. E-PSA, as an alliance of firms, is operated by membership dues, support fees, and is governed by a board of directors made up from industry firms. Many solution providers are adopting e-PSA standards now into their own systems.

The goal of e-PSA standards is for business process information, such as order status or purchase orders, to make use of computers and the inexpensive Internet to send and receive the order information. Additionally, each document of information has expectations to look exactly the same and be sent using reliable transport means. This allows for the additional advantage of further automating the electronic exchange and process with back end programming. This can only be done if documents meet well defined certification requirements and firms can depend on the same data arriving from every trading partner.
