Erin– Order Manager

My name is Erin, and I am an Order Manager.

I've worked in the promo industry for two years and I also “grew up” in the industry. By this, I mean it's in my blood. 50 years ago, my grandma started her own company that specializes in name badges and printed items. My dad and two aunts later took it over, and my cousin now owns the company — making it three generations of family involvement. Meanwhile, my mom has been owner of an independent distributor for 20 years, and I grew up going to the various tradeshows across the country. (I also "modeled" with my brother in the annual catalog.)

I'm a graduate of Arizona State University and have a bachelor's degree in fashion business and a minor in event management. Prior to coming to Crystal D, I worked in events, “eatertainment,” and customer service roles. The one thing I loved most was how much I learned during my time at each. I was in several different industries, which taught me various skills from customer service to organization to problem solving.

I enjoy traveling and my most recent destinations are Puerto Vallarta and Cozumel in Mexico. I hope to travel to Europe in the next couple of years! Outside of work, I like to spend time at home or with family and friends.

Something Surprising:I spend my summers working with MN Cars & Coffee helping to organize the car events. I also participate in its Kannonball Charity Rally in the summer to help raise money for Northern Voices, a center for young children with hearing loss and their families.

Favorite Award: My favorite award is the Vibrance Tower because it's a classic award shape with a burst of color. It's also one of 10 items in our Legacy Gallery giveback program; 20 percent of the product sale goes to local, national and international charitable organizations.
