Jen - Marketing

My name is Jen, and I work in marketing.

I have a bachelor's degree in political science from Loyola University Chicago and a master's degree in sports journalism from DePaul University. I thought I wanted to be a lawyer when I was a kid. Spoiler alert: I actually did not. I've worked in retail, restaurants, and insurance for a combined total of 17 years. I've been in marketing for almost a decade now.

I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, but I've also lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, and Phoenix before moving to the Twin Cities. In my spare time, I love watching my favorite Chicago sports teams (White Sox, Bears, and Blackhawks), cooking, reading, and writing.

Something Surprising: I have two black cats with baseball pun names: Meower after Joe Mauer and Purrzynski after AJ Pierzynski (who is also my favorite player). I'm also obsessed with llamas.

Favorite Award: My favorite award is the Aurora Award. I find the shape to be classic and timeless, and the white crystal adds something unique and sophisticated to the award.
