Technology Merger and Acquisition
Inspiration
Symbolism is a big part of creating a memorable deal toy. The symbolism found in the design and imprint on a deal toy must properly represent all the parties involved. The recipient also needs to easily understand the significance of the accomplishment by simply looking at the deal toy.
One client described the symbolic meaning of her deal toy as "strong, lasting, and big." This client was from Diamond Financial Partners. Their deal team had recently contributed to the merger and acquisition of MVM Project, an international technology company, and VGI Group. The investing company symbolized the "strong" part of the deal toy.
The symbolic nature of the words "lasting" and "big" were represented by the MVM Project organization itself. Since the company was established in 1902, its legacy was long lasting. And because the company was the biggest international technology organization in thermodynamic technology, it represented the word "big" that the client held so dearly.
Design
This very large deal was closed in late 2016. The designers at Crystal D took the symbolishm of this deal toy and the words of the client to heart. Their design focused on the words "strong, lasting, and big," and as a result, created this deal toy.
A walnut base was the perfect way to embody "strong." This beautiful base features a royal finish and is ideal for highlighting the exquisite Pinnacle Peak. The deal tombstone information was deep etched on the flawless crystal canvas to best signify "lasting." The Pinnacle Peak stands at an incredible 26" tall. There was no better way to capture "big" than a deal toy that stands over two feet tall!
End Result
The team at Diamond Financial Parters was surprised that a deal toy made of crystal could accurately reflect the magnitude of their deal. They delighted in the symbolic meaning of the toy and celebrated their success at the close of this very special deal. Today this deal toy sits proudly on the credenza of the investing organization as a sign of financial strength and excellence.
