Top Secret Deal
Inspiration
A financial company was looking to commemorate a significant deal with a compelling deal toy. The client didn't want to show any deal information, but they wanted the financial tombstone to symbolize the uphill battle and time spent on the deal alongside its code name: Project Fire & Ice.
The deal was rather astonishing, as the deal team had been working on it for over six years. It had numerous complex clauses and specifics, and it ranked as one of the largest deals of 2014 when it finally closed.
Design
To honor this unique deal, the client turned to Crystal D's design team to create an exclusive crystal deal toy. The design team honed in on the Lambent Flame. The combination of crystal and the shape of the award were the perfect symbolic depiction of fire and ice.
After they selected the design, the team at Crystal D started planning the personalization of the deal toy. It was improtant to incorporate the many years put into the deal. The colorful image of clock gears added to the back of the financial tombstone was the perfect representation of that.
To embody the uphill battle of this enormous project, the design team proposed adding a silhouette of workers hauling a large boulder uphill to the front of the deal toy.
Finally, to further enhance the financial tombstone, the project name was added in deep etch and filled with gold and silver colorfill.
The combination of symbolism, design, and imprint processes resulted in this one-of-a-kind crystal deal toy.
End Result
The client was so over the moon with the outcome of their deal toy. They increased their original order so they would be able to present the flawless crystal deal toy to supplementary deal contributors.
